After the Program “Teaching Thai to Vietnamese students” in Can Tho University of Technology (CTUT) successfully implemented by 03 students from Rajabhat Rajanagarindra University (RRU) in June 2016, CTUT staff and students joined the program “Strengthening Educational Relations in ASEAN for student development to internationalization” organized by RRU from 04th August to 16th August 2016. Participating the program were staff and students from Ba Ria – Vung Tau College of Education and Pannasastra University of Cambodia.
During the time of the program, besides the meeting with RRU leadership, Faculty of Education leadership and RRU students, 60 participants visited historical, cultural sites in Chachoengsao province and other provinces in central Thailand, learned how to make some handicrafts, participated in Host Family program, studied and took part in planting trees to protect mangrove forest. Furthermore, Vietnamese students organized classes to teach Vietnamese to RRU students.

The program is a good chance for participating institutions to extend and enhance relationship and cooperation, especially within ASEAN area, creates an environment for students to exchange, learn and improve English skill as well as foster other skills after their graduation, which helps them get familiar with today’s environment of globalization. In addition, the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness in preparation of the organizers and supporting students from RRU led the program to success and left many good memories for the participants.
At the end of the program, the participants and organizers came to a farewell with warm and emotional atmosphere, promising more cooperation and exchange in the future./.
